NZIDT to acquire the assets of APHSNZ.
Over the past decade, Mohamud Mohamed and APHSNZ have proudly supported their customers to help them gain access to key overseas Halal markets. In recent months, Mohamud Mohamed has decided to move to Australia to be closer to his family. After approaching NZIDT Ltd to ascertain our interest in his business, Mohamud Mohamed and NZIDT have worked very closely together to achieve an agreement for NZIDT to acquire the assets of APHSNZ.
As the market leader in Halal auditing and certification services in New Zealand, NZIDT provides comprehensive market access and the high level of service that APHSNZ customers are familiar with. We see this acquisition as a way of leveraging the combined strengths of both NZIDT and APHSNZ to ensure the ongoing delivery of robust Halal auditing and certification services for our customers in New Zealand.
What does this mean for my business?
Going forward, NZIDT will complete all work that would historically have been completed by APHSNZ, including the scheduling and delivery of audits, and the approval of eCerts.
All of your existing market access requirements will be covered under NZIDT’s accreditations. NZIDT can also support access to additional export markets that APHSNZ was not approved for. View the list of markets that NZIDT is approved for.
